FedEx Ground utilizes ID scanning functionality for deliveries of Adult Signature Required.When a recipient’s ID is scanned the FedEx Pickup and Delivery software 1) Electronically captures the recipient’s first initial and last name 2) Verifies the recipient is 21 years or older 3) Does not record or store any other personal data encoded within the ID.
