Using ONLY local Pittsburgh ingredients that are true to our region’s history we present Wigle Whiskey & Shop 412’s second annual collaboration bottle: Single Barrel Honey Finished Rye! This Wigle Rye Whiskey aged for 6 years was finished in Black Locust Honey coated barrels to create a one of a kind spirit.

We began working on this collaboration in early 2024. With the Shop 412 team, we selected a very special single barrel. After sampling countless honeys and whiskey barrels at different proofs, we dialed into just the right combination.

By June the original liquid was ready to be transferred into the honey-coated barrels where it sat through the changing of the seasons, swelling in the humid Pittsburgh summer days, cooling in the chilly nights of fall.
