Description

Oktoberfest is the world’s largest beer festival and it has been hosted in Munich, Germany since 1810. It’s so popular that many other cities across the world hold similar festivals, including Penn Brewery in Pittsburgh. Part of our ongoing Brewers Series, Oktoberfest is a collaboration with Wigle + Penn Brewery.

Oktoberfest is a spirit distilled from grain & hops, specifically Penn Brewery Oktoberfest beer, a Munich-style lager with nutty, toasty, and caramel characteristics. The result is a tasty spirit reminiscent of Scotch whiskey, with notes of fresh sugar cane, candied orange peel, lemon and a pleasantly malty finish! Aged in used cooperage for over three years, it’s a fun way to participate in the festivities!”
