Wigle Organic Straight Bourbon, finished in in Laphroaig Scotch barrels for an additional year.
We mill, ferment, and distill our Organic Straight Bourbon in Pittsburgh from regional corn, wheat and malted barley at our Strip District Distillery. We then finished it in used Scotch quarter casks previously used to age the famous heavily peated Laphroaig Scotch Whisky, which has been made for the last 200 years on the island of Islay off the west coast of Scotland.
