Wigle Pennsylvania Wapsie Valley Bourbon shows off our commitment to working with local farming partners. Nigel at Weatherbury Farms approached us about wanting to cultivate the heirloom, open-pollinated (pollinated naturally by birds and insects) variety of corn and we figured it would be a great base for a terroir-rich bourbon. This heritage variety of corn gives this bourbon distinctive notes of butterscotch, brown sugar, and leather.
