A uniquely inland approach to island spirits. Landlocked was inspired by honeybees and Wigle owners’ work in beekeeping which led them to establish a community apiary in Pittsburgh. To make this spiced honey flavored rum, we start by fermenting and distilling rich, smoky molasses in small batches in our copper pot still, then finish it with vanilla bean, orange peel, cocoa nib, cinnamon, and seasonal Pennsylvania honey for a touch of local sweetness.
