A uniquely Inland Approach to island spirits. Landlocked Oaked was inspired by bees and our own work in beekeeping, which led us to establish a community apiary in Pittsburgh. We start by fermenting and distilling regionally sourced fall honey in small batches in our copper pot still and then rest the spirit in charred oak barrels. This process deepens the vanilla nose and creates a complex body of pepper and fig.
