His writing explores emotional complexity through meticulously worded storytelling, Beck willfully injects a powerful sense of joy into each piece as if forcibly reminding the listener that life is beautiful despite its inherent difficulties.”
“Lem is the lofi/joke folk project of String Machine’s Laurel Wain and Ian Compton. Together the two sing silly songs about growing up in the woods of Western Pennsylvania and Mike Myers movies.”
