Whiskey Garden Eventeer

A native of Virginia, Brittany (or B as we know her) began her journey to Wigle Whiskey as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Zambia working with traditional fermentation techniques as a means to food preservation and of course, alcohol production. Her passion for all things fermented has since grown alongside her love of the food history and culture of Pittsburgh. You’ll find B at Labeling Parties, working hard around the Barrel House and Whiskey Garden, or hitting the books at Chatham University where she is studying to complete her Master’s in Food Studies. As president of the Chatham University Fermentation club, she is always ready to swap recipes or ideas with a fellow fermentation enthusiast!
